Fox Ad Revenue Soars 78% on World Cup; Tubi Reaches 110 Million Users

Fox's advertising sales jumped 78% in its fiscal fourth quarter, driven by the FIFA World Cup, as total revenue rose 28% to $4.21 billion. The company said distribution revenue increased 5%, helped by 7% growth at its cable network programming. Fox also highlighted continued digital growth, led by its ad-supported video-on-demand service.

That service, Tubi, reached 110 million monthly users in the quarter and delivered its highest revenue quarter yet. Tubi's CEO said the streamer has no plans to slow down.

The World Cup also gave a major lift to Fox's TV segment, where ad sales soared more than 108%.

Separately, sports streaming platform FuboTV said it narrowed its third-quarter loss on sharply higher revenue after the World Cup. It reported 5.75 million subscribers, up from 5.63 million a year earlier and 5.73 million in the previous quarter.
