Jeremy Strong, the Oscar-nominated actor known for "Succession," has revealed that he reached out to Mark Zuckerberg after being cast as the Meta CEO in the upcoming film "The Social Reckoning." Strong said he emailed Zuckerberg to assure him that he takes the responsibility of portraying him very seriously, and that Zuckerberg responded. While Strong declined to share details of their exchange, he told GQ that he believes an actor should not play a controversial figure with the intention of condemning them. He acknowledged that Zuckerberg is widely disliked in popular culture but argued that such a portrayal would be wrong. The film, which focuses on the social reckoning, has yet to announce a release date.
