Christy Knowings, an actor on Nickelodeon's 1990s sketch comedy show "All That," died at 46 after being removed from life support at a Los Angeles-area hospital. Reports give her death date as Tuesday, with one saying Aug. 11 and another Aug. 12.
Knowings suffered an asthma attack that left her with brain damage, and she was hospitalized on Friday, according to reports. Life support was later removed. Her aunt, Tyleah Joseph, announced her death on Facebook. A cause of death was not disclosed.
Kenan Thompson, her former co-star, remembered her on Facebook, saying the loss hit hard and wishing her rest. Knowings appeared on "All That" alongside Thompson, Nick Cannon, Amanda Bynes, and Kel Mitchell. She was 46.
