Israeli settlers have desecrated graves in a Palestinian cemetery during a march near the village of Tal in the occupied West Bank, residents said. They reported that Israeli forces accompanied the march and fired tear gas at Palestinians.
The incident comes amid a rise in settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank, as settlements and outposts expand.
Separately, Israeli forces arrested at least seven Palestinians, including two teenagers, in raids across the occupied West Bank. A 16-year-old was detained in the town of Tammun, southeast of Tubas city, according to the Wafa news agency. Another 16-year-old was arrested in a predawn raid on the village of Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem.
