During a tense protest in Ranchi, Neha Bora, president of the All India Students' Association (AISA), was targeted with ink, an attack she blamed on workers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Video footage showed black ink splashed across her face, neck, and clothes.
Bora was at the protest to voice support for job aspirants demanding redress for suspected misconduct in competitive exams. She highlighted the need for transparency and accountability in government examination procedures and called for the expulsion of private agencies marred by corruption allegations. Protesters also rallied for the annulment of multiple exams and a thorough inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
