Ariana Grande is withdrawing from a London production of the musical Sunday in the Park With George, citing ongoing public scrutiny, but producers say the show will go on as planned. The singer and actress announced over the weekend that she will step back from visibility after her Eternal Sunshine tour ends on September 1. A representative said the decision was driven in part by the constant attention she has faced. Grande had been due to star in the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine musical alongside her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey. The Pulitzer Prize-winning production was scheduled to premiere at London's Barbican in summer 2027. Producers confirmed the show will proceed as planned despite Grande's exit. No replacement has been announced.
