Spider-Man: Brand New Day will swing onto Imax screens in North America starting Thursday, Aug. 6, after Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey ends its exclusive hold on the premium large-format network. The Sony/Marvel Studios superhero film, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, opened big in theaters over the weekend but did not play on Imax during its first days because The Odyssey commanded the entire domestic Imax footprint for three weekends. With that exclusive run ending, Spider-Man will expand across the Imax network, which has 440 screens in North America. The Odyssey, an epic from Universal, will continue to run at select digital locations in the region.
