The Odyssey has crossed $1.1 billion at the global box office, making it director Christopher Nolan's highest-grossing film ever, according to Universal. The milestone tops the $1.085 billion earned by 2012's The Dark Knight Rises. Matt Damon stars as Odysseus in the film, which hit theaters July 17.
In a separate box office milestone, Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossed $1 billion internationally in just 12 days, the second-fastest film to do so after Avengers: Endgame.
