Lucy Davis Reveals Diagnosis of Incurable Breast Cancer

Actress Lucy Davis, known for playing Dawn Tinsley in the UK version of "The Office," has revealed that she has incurable breast cancer. Davis shared the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday, saying she has Stage 4 breast cancer. She said she found a small hard spot rather than a lump, and encouraged others to check themselves. Her announcement drew support from fellow actors and directors, including Jenna Fischer, who played Pam in the US "Office," Kiernan Shipka, her co-star on "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," and Edgar Wright, who directed her in "Shaun of the Dead." Her father, comedian Jasper Carrott, said the family is very proud of her.
