On the 17th day of Parliament's Monsoon Session, the government is set to move the Kerala (Alteration of Name) Bill and the NCDC Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. Reports from various Parliamentary Standing Committees will also be presented during the day.
The session has been repeatedly disrupted, with the Opposition demanding answers from the government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been seeking a response from Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju challenged Gandhi to face Shah in Parliament, telling him not to run away.
Separately, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio asked the Centre to reconsider the FCRA amendments, saying they could negatively affect Christian groups and humanitarian efforts.
