Operation Highway Shield, part of the administration's trucking industry crackdown, placed 766 unsafe vehicles out of service and led to 51 immigration detentions, according to the reports. The operation also found 36 English language proficiency violations.
Separately, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has expanded its operations to target immigrants passing through airports, and arrests at terminals have been peaking, according to CBS News.
